I did a brief analysis of USPIX going back to the beginning of the year and I found that it did better (less) than 2x on NDX up days and very close to 2x on NDX down days. So in general it was a very good way to hedge WITH 1 EXCEPTION. April 18. This was a big NDX down day but the USPIX did not keep up.
