Porter, it got through, more or less: it made it to my inbox, as it should (it was addressed to me); I left it there unread and went back to my SubjectMarks where I saw "Canadian Options" -- "1 new". The latter link (the one most people would normally use, I imagine) didn't work however ... rather than showing me the new message, it just brought me back to my SubjectMarks page where "Canadian Options" had been moved to the section for Subjects without New Messages ...

I then clicked on the "Canadian Options" link to bring up the list of the last 40 posts, where your message was indeed listed as the most recent. However, unless folks choose this method, they may well miss it. Given it's importance -- I'm sure all regulars on this thread will want to have seen it -- perhaps you could repost it whenever SI gets back to normal.

It's too bad that the ME is going the way of the TSE -- as you say, all they'll end up doing is driving investors to the CBOE ...

On a brighter note, I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the vibrancy of Montreal. Man, I miss that jazz festival ... a half a million people in the streets ... those were the days.

Best,
Terry
