Prodigy must feel they have too many customers now. As crazy as this sounds they still have the access problems, you can usually log on but at times can only log on at speeds of 9,600 to 24,000 that's on a 56K modem.

It gets even better. At some point around 6/29-6/30 they suspended my account. When I call to find out why, they tell me that they have been trying to bill my card and have not been successful. They could have notified me first.

To top it off per thier records my account was already paid up to 7/20/00. They suspended a paid account because they couldn't charge my card almost a month early for an account paid annually. Besides that they (the service rep and supervisor) were arrogant that I would mention they made an error and didn't even want to give me the extra day credit for having suspended my account. Now as a customer for over 5 years tolerating their problems I have no reason to stay with Prodigy. Especially when netzero has better connections than prodigy does.

Let this serve as a note to stockholders of what is going on in customer service there. To think everything comes down from the top.
