In my 20+ years in IT, I've never seen a major upgrade have so many bugs. Not just in one area, but pretty well throughout the major functions of the system. My head would be on the chopping block if I would have installed this.... Reasons?

- Bad code... unit, string, system and QA testing ALL failed to uncover errors? C'mon, now way!
- Improper migration of production programs and/or database changes?
- No fallback plan to old system if, after performing post-installation production testing, the installation is a disaster?

WOW... did they rush to get this in because of management pressure? I'd rather be late than to put this out to my customers.
