I've just tried some other ideas to make the MDD thread reachable, but still no luck.

If you can get to a message in the thread, you can reply to it and read the messages. But that's it.

Does it still show up on your subjectmarks list? If so, does it show new messages? I've written two in there this morning.

Message 6656350 will at least let you get to the thread through a side door.

I feel better knowing that no damage was done to the threads (as in disappearance of all those posts), but I know this is not a solution either. Just a temporary workaround.
