World Court: Uganda must leave Congo
The court ruled that Uganda must abide by a United Nations resolution demanding the withdrawal of all foreign troops from the Congo.
It also called on both countries to refrain from any military action and ensure fundamental human rights.

Kinshasa had filed the cases against Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, accusing them of armed aggression and violations of human rights.

Burundi and Rwanda contested the Court's jurisdiction on the cases.

A final ruling in the case is not expected before a few years.
