Why is China, Japan, Korea, US Companies (eg. SBC) ignoring CDMA (2000, I 95, etc.) and opting to pursue the TDMA path for GPRS/EDGE?GSM/WCDMA 3G?

Excuse me, using WCDMA doesn't mean you have to use GPRS and EDGE. If, just in case for a snowball chance, some Korean carriers choose to use WCDMA in NEW spectrum. It doesn't mean they are going with TDMA path.

You failed to mention Ollila stated Nokia will win the race.

C'mon, what do you expect him to say? Admitting falling behind and can't make it up? The falling behind part is fact and the winning the battle part is rap talk.
