Riker also said three rigs to be turning by mid-July. Great, 2/3 there. Well #14-23 spudded June 21; #10-23 spudded June 27. That leaves four of the original six wells with permits (since 40-acre downsizing) to go. . . Of interest because it shows how anxious all the operators are to capitalize on gas pricing, McMurry (now AEC) has 21 new Jonah permits and AMOCO at least 10, all in the last two weeks.
