I've just been informed that the problem with getting database errors when the first 80 characters contain quotes has been fixed.

If there are other scenarios that cause the "Error writing to database" message, please let me know, with details.

Bob, this is really annoying...plain & simple. Why does SI/Gnet use filters?

I don't know the new code at all, but speaking as a programmer, I'd make the educated guess that it has little to do with filters and more to do with using string delimters within strings.

Why censoring the postsfor what?

Any "censorship" is done by me or Jeff and only after the fact. There is no code here to prevent anything from being written.
