Summer Sunset's Sun

The day's last rays
splash over my shoulder
only to find your eyes to dance in

I feel cotton,
see only pastels while breathing
citrus, the sea and champagne

You tilt your head maybe
to balance your crooked smile
all the while I soak in your grace

Your pale palm cradles my cheek as
I kiss the other bronzed by
the walk to the pier

We walk locking pinkys
melting into one into the
Summer Sunset's Sun
