The Gorilla Game : Picking Winners in High Technology
by Geoffrey A. Moore, Paul Johnson, Tom Kippola
I bought the abridge audio on Harper Collins because I wanted something to listen to in the truck.
There are several G & K threads on SI because of the book's impact on tech investing. A must for a tech investors. One flaw that I see is the concept of "buying a basket of stocks" for a new field. Maybe the book went into it, but the tape seems to figure investors have unlimited dollars.
The best gorilla gamers that are on SI just buy proven gorillas. I watched recent 50% decline in MSFT, 65% decline in QCOM, and 40% decline in CSCO so buying a proven gorilla is not perfect. The book's concepts are important and identification of companies crossing the chasm and tornado growth are best tech investment ideas in the 1990's.
Goeffrey Moore is an excellent narrator.
