Did you happen to notice that one of the two firms launching a class action suit against Citrix happens to be also launching two others at the same time? They didn't even take the time to write more than one press release.

These law firms launch such suits virtually every time any company hits a bad patch and gets a haircut in the market. They are the very worst form of lawyer scum. Lower than the ambulance chasers who advertise on late night television.

The only real beneficiaries of these suits are the lawyers. I know this from personal experience.

Moreover, the fact that these suits are brought doesn't indicate that they have any real merit. It's just an easy opportunity for some lawyers to make some money by taking advantage of the anguish of shareholders who have lost money and will grasp at any straw to be compensated.

Generally, companies settle these suits rather than having to spend more money fighting them. The lawyers don't care that each stock holder might get 10 bucks for each thousand dollar loss, because they (the lawyers) pocket a large percentage of the total settlement.

Ask anyone who has been a part of such a class action suit. You will definitely NOT get any satisfaction. Personally, I think you'd be better off just holding your shares for another year or so.
