It is a good point, Scott.

Based on fundamentals they--CTYS and AAM--look very similar. To the extent that fundamentals reflect managements' performance, I would assume that they are comparable in this sense, too. However, it is an unknown (at least to me) if the revenue and profit growth of AAM is packaged with loans of higher risk in comparison with CTYS. Overall, I tend to discount any possible differences in managements' abilities in this sector; the industry is fairly homogeneous in terms of policies and at least short-term I don't see any reason for any changes in real estate values (by which the loans are collaterized). This industry is not a high-tech where management's ability can really make a difference. AAM is undervalued in its own merit and as long as it is trading below CTYS it is a safe bet to keep it. I own a lot of AAM and plan to keep holding.
