- Looking over jdec's Finl's for qtr ending 4/30/00, I see so much potential:

- 111 mill shs o/s on fully diluted
- $408 mill in cash & investments
- $269 mill in A/R
- total liabil of $382 mill
- Zero debt
- $527 mill of shareholders equity; or about $5.10/share
- net loss of $2.3 mill; or .02/sh; or basically a co. that just doesn't have the appetite to make profit
- total rev of $231 mill; which was identical to same qtr year ago; & just about every 1/4 in between
- license fees, which obviously carry the greatest gross margin, went from $67 mill to $82 mill.
- Service revenue down b/c loss consulting & training

- Given the recent announcement to cut back in certain areas, I think JDEC can become very profitable.

- They have a $bill coming in every year. Customer base is growing. Seems like more & more cos. are taking on JDEC's product line; but I don't see anyone dropping it. If this trend continues, & license fee income continues to grow, I would think they could become hugely profitable.
