Thanks Ibexx that proves my point that per unit cost is the big issue to companies like NOK, ERIC etc. They are able to avoid the added cost when it comes to TDMa and GSM since they have the IPR. NOK is not an IPR company (they have and never will sell their nokia-specfic GSM technology) they make phones...if the price is right they'll buy IPR from Bill Gates Himself (well maybe that's pushing it a bit)... ed.
