If you want to put words in my mouth to support your notion that I am extreme or something Karen. I'm sure you could find actual thoughts I've expressed to lend some credence to your claim.

I didn't mean to put words in your mouth. I ask questions like that when my open-ended questions don't get answered.

You said: Karen, if Clinton truly wanted the boy and his father to stay in the United States, he sure did everything in his power to ensure it would never happen.

I can't find a way to reconcile that statement with: The courts ruling was not unreasonable. And I stated as much after the ruling.

Yes, you did. But we haven't seen you around here for a while. You come back and say that what Clinton did was ensure that his administration sent Elian back to Cuba when all they did was follow the law, so say the courts. At the risk of looking like I'm putting words in your mouth again, what would you have had him do? Tell the INS to throw out the rule book and give the kid asylum?

Karen
