<hardly anyone will ever want a phone that costs DOLLARS per minute to use? before there was no competetion. now there is...and it costs pennies>

With all due respect, you are wrong and your argument is based on fallacy. If Globastar were trying to pry away the installed user base of terrestrial wireless, shorting this stock would be a no-brainer. Accurately stated, Globalstar's market does NOT have competition costing pennies--in fact, at present, it has no comparable competition at all. No doubt, terrestrial wireless buildout has diminished the areas where service is needed, but to make the leap to your statement above is suicidal.

Your argument is equivalent to saying that Ferrari would be unable to sell a $250,000 car because you can go down the street and buy a Hyundai for less than $20K. The Hyundai has about the same chance of going from 0-60mph in 4 seconds as a terrestrial based CDMA wireless phone does of completing a call from inside the Grand Canyon. Both cars...both wireless services...but they DON'T compete. Come to think of it, the Hyundai could probably accelerate that quickly if you drove it off a Grand Canyon cliff, but you'd better have a Globalstar phone to call your loved ones on the way down.

p.s. Your most recent comment: "anyone who can't get cellular can't afford dollars per minute," shows you for what you are--woefully misinformed.
