limtex: Now that the DOJ has destroyed the WCOM bid, will the DOJ exercise equal vigalence over the potential of the Europeans owning the two most important mobile services which hold the future wireless / internet nexus in their hands in the US? Will be fascinating to watch.

Sure VOD doesn't exactly own Verizon yet, but VOD has made it clear that is in the cards.

So now there is a clear path for DT to buy Sprint.

What a proud day for the DOJ.

What a service to clear the path for European vs US ownership.

With the DOJ's action, the clear path for data dominance (CDMA) on the cellular and PCS nationwide networks are now vulnerable to the Europeans.

Pitiful, no?

Sad, sad, sad.

Best.
