Paul - IBM's Gerstner still has a couple years on his contract and till he turns 60, which is IBM's 'mandatory' CEO retirement age. The guy who built IBM's services business, a gent by the name of Sam Palmisano appears to be first in line at this time for the CEO slot. So, I doubt Lane is going to IBM. As for T, well, Armstrong is on the hot seat with the stock just about cut in half over the past few months. I would not mind it as I have just started to build a trading position in T this past Friday, but I have no idea how strong Armstrong's position is at this time. Regards, John
