Unfortunately, very few people here appear capable of disagreeing agreeably. Each time I visit (providing an alternative point of view) I am attacked in a very condescending rude way? Happens a lot to shorts around the threads. I think this is a different phenomenon than the treatment shorts get. Longs often don't want to hear anything that threatens their investments. I think much of the tone on this and other issue discussion threads is not so much about differences of opinion as differences in discussion style. Some people just like to debate. Often they can debate either side of an issue. It's the fencing of the opponents that's fun and the better fencer the opponent, the more fun it is. When the opponent doesn't put up a good fight, they get frustrated and dismissive. If they can't have fun debating, they have fun by making fun. It may look like it's a difference of opinion but I think mostly it's not. My questions is, why do you believe in their account of events so fully? Did you even bother to read my post? The first rule of discussion is that one read and understand what the other guy is saying and demonstrate that undertanding in one's reply. [I know that was condescending, but I don't think it was rude.] Karen
