Hello Uncle Auric,

Downtrend in posts was mainly caused by competition of other sites AND added resources within Silicon Investor. Many people use the site, but not always post. They post if they have something to say, others just to say something.

Regarding the zsun8 case, I don't know the details. If SI gave the names, they should have informed posters of this.

To say that other message boards have less quality posts than SI is too strong. But there is a clear difference in level of anonymity.

Anonymity has its bad faces. In a free society you need people to take responsibility for what they do and what they say. Anonymity creates an environment where people don't have to be responsible and can say or do whatever they want.

If you invest in companies that oppose pollution or bad labor conditions, you accept less return short term. The long term will reward you.

The focus of Go2net is long term. It is good that they oppose stock manipulation, bashing and spamming. For many that is a reason to stay, for some a reason to leave.

By the way, you were right about the bubble.

Regards,
Pareto
