Don't worry. 99% of the the people who post on the Yahoo boards are complete dullards, with little or no knowledge of Oracle or the stock market in general. Have you read some of their posts? "Oracle longs will loose there money." Ya gotta wonder how these knotheads figured out how to turn on a computer. Also, don't be spooked by all the negative spin by the Financial Times and other publications. They have no facts and they're stuck because no one will comment. The only way to make the story a STORY is to stir up trouble. From FT: "...what is clear is that it will hurt Oracle stock." (Oh, really? I guess that crystal ball is paying off) Not very objective. The reality: the stock might take a small hit Monday (press and rumor-mongers creating a self fulfilling prophecy), but rationality will ultimately prevail and it will probably be back to the mid 80s by next week. Besides, it was no secret that Lane was on his way out. All this talk of his departure being "abrupt" is nonsense. Oracle is and will continue to be a tech leader, with or without Ray Lane. I think the earnings and the product pipeline are a testament to that fact.

All the imbeciles on the Yahoo boards can log onto E TRADE and sell their 50 shares. I'm staying put.
