Hi Lad, yes, this is a real problem, on both counts. Worse, I do not think mgt is getting it! To say this is a ligitous society doesn't do anything to help the co or her shareholders an iota.
The best thing is to come clean with everything, if there is anything at all, ASAP. Of course, losing mgt focus is a valid situation at this time for mgt to transfer power to a turnaround specialist w/o any appearance of admission of guilt. Will mgt do so? I am a bit skeptical. The logical conclusion to me is that the long term shareholders may have to wait this one out. I certainly agree with some of the sentiment expressed here, there is little justification to put fresh money into this co. Sorry, cant be more cheerful!
However, like I said previously. Despair is not the right attitude to me; rather, we should let mgt know how we feel :)
