James - what do you think of CTXS?

I bought some this morning at 18.75. The company has been hammered by a barrage of bad news. But in truth, they seem to have the leading product in their category - and they have earnings (PE of 28). Yahoo's corporate portal announcement from last week listed Citrix as one of the partners in the program:

cbs.marketwatch.com

And at it's current price, I can't but feel that the company might be an attractive buy-out candidate for Microsoft.

My company actually developed a resource management system based on Citrix WinFrame (using Access as a front-end against SQL Server) for a major civil engineering firm here in the Bay Area. The application was much easier to develop than a web-based version would have been - the app has been in use for nearly two years now and has worked well for the company.

I'm putting in a stop sell order at 16.875 - but I think all the bad news on this stock may be out. Would be curious to know if you have any thoughts on this stock.

-Eric
