Eric, which Morris would you like to talk to about Ctxs?;-) >NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 2000--A class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida seeking to pursue remedies under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 on behalf of all purchasers of the common stock of Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS) ("Citrix" or the "Company") between October 18, 1999, and June 9, 2000, inclusive (the "Class Period").
The Class Action Complaint alleges a fraudulent scheme and deceptive course of conduct by certain individuals, officers and/or directors of Citrix who disseminated materially false and misleading statements regarding the Company during the Class Period. More specifically, Plaintiff alleges these individuals caused Citrix to issue false and misleading statements concerning, among other things, the Company's record financial results and phenomenal growth and expansion prospects. These false and misleading statements caused the price of Citrix stock to be artificially inflated throughout the Class Period until the truth was revealed. As a result, the Company's stock fell from a Class Period pre-split high of nearly $182 per share to close at about $22 on June 12, 2000.
Plaintiff is represented by the law firm of Morris and Morris. Morris and Morris concentrates on litigating class actions on behalf of investors and shareholders under the federal securities laws.
If you are a member of the Class described above, you may move the Court to serve as lead plaintiff not later than 60 days from June 14, 2000.
