Goutama,

<To all: Q2 EPS Contest>

This quarter's contest has become a complete crapshoot (more so than ever) because of the motherboard situation. Fab capacity numbers suggest that any unit output between 6.5-7.5Mu is entirely possible. With K6s around 4.7M (+/- 200k) and the rest being Athlons and Durons.

Depending on the assumptions made about tax rates and ASPs earnings could be anywhere between $1.30-$2.10.

Given the spread and given that there are still almost no KT133s are shipping, there is a good chance that the some of the bulls may be disappointed - Good luck to the participents.

Chuck

P.S.: Even the $1.30 number is quite OK since the street expectations at about $1.10 are much lower than internet bulleting board expectations.
