Most of them are "stories". If I dont agree and it looks to be all hype.... I look for shorting opportunities. It IS my profession so I feel comfortable in my assessments. I dont as a rule play the short side too much. My biggest gains have been in stocks that I have held the longest from the long side. You can only make 100% in a short, but my two best stocks are currently up over 500% in the past couple years and I am still holding. Steve
