MKEL, yes, the interest accumulates from the time of the original decision. The total amount, principle and interest is now at about $130 million. The $20,000 per day is peanuts to GE however and it looks as though they are going to drag this out to the bitter end. This will not help them in future negotiations with Fonar on such issues as licensing, royalties and open MRI infringements. They are currently working on trying to reach an agreement with Fonar which will address all these issues. It is interesting that they visited Fonars manufacturing facility a couple weeks ago. This might suggest that both companies are open minded about a possible buyout of Fonar as a solution to all remaining problems. David Giacometti
