Karen, I almost replied to your first post. To say that this thread is the wishing well of all who are in need.
Then Shootie's response came through. It sort of calibrated requirements for participation. One needed to meet certain specifications to sign on.
From the first notice of Monica'a illness, there has been a parade of disease analyses, hospital evaluations, action alternatives, and all - that have little to do with the subject, but only with the busy-body.
I AM SURE THAT THERE ARE MANY READERS, LURKERS, WHO FEEL DIFFERENTLY. AND THEY ARE THE BED UPON WHICH THOSE WHO ARE TROUBLED MAY LIE.
But, to me, the vocalizers on this sainted thread are much more inward, than outward, directed.
The man with stock problems, and wife strokes, should naturally find a sympathetic response here. As should all others in need. (The first man whose sister was in extremis.)
I, defiantly, submit that the bureaucrats will deprive even the most soulful of undertakings of their humanity.
I am with your plaint. Please do not feel you have to qualify it to make it broadly felt.
