IMO the whole topic means nothing to the economy or techland... very knowledgable tech people are on both sides of the argument. A quick reading of 'The Gorilla Game' certainly leaves one wondering about monopolistic tendancies at least, and certainly anti-competative behavior. On the other hand, perhaps MSFT's dominance is almost over anyway?? Whatever, those that are claiming the government is ruining everything are way out there IMO. MSFT has it's head in the ground on this one... perhaps Gates is playing this dangerous game because he knows the writing is on the wall for windows?? Has his stock sales picked up at all? Would be interesting.
