Mike,

"4. I bought my last third of Ancor-ANCR last week and am punting it today. This stock has been very kind to me. Where is "Pay Per Chaste" when it is time to rub his nose in it? <VBG>"

Do you mean to say that you sold only a third or the whole position in Ancor?

IMO, it wouldn't be a good time to sell now unless you are aware of something I'm not. Ancor should be introducing Itasca sometime this quarter. It will be a 16-port ASIC...basically a switch on a chip. Presently, the competition(and Ancor) can only do 4 ports per ASIC. I haven't heard a peep out of Brocade, for example, that they are anywhere near such levels of integration. And then there is Sun which appears to be heading for a ramping of sales(finally!!!) of Ancor's switches. For the first time in a while I'm really looking forward(without wearing Depends) to owning Ancor stock(soon to be QLGC, I presume).

One more question...what do you think the odds are for a bidding war for Ancor? As you may have read in the S-4 there were four other bidders prior to the merger agreement with QLGC. Hard to imagine that they all just went away for good, or that others might not appear.

Craig
