I bought in a few weeks back at .77. A few comments on the pending IPO of Elastic.

Do we have any reason to believe ITE will liquidate their entire holding in Elastic? If not, then the EPS estimates are not really relevant at this point.

Holding companies such as this are normally valued at a discount to their net asset value -- perhaps 25%. In BCE's case, it's even more. This is because investors have a difficult time determining true value (especially for non public companies), and the earnings stream is unpredictable at best.

So not to rain on anyone's parade, but I would personally be cautious about predicting any near term surge to $10 per share. IMO, this is a long term hold to realize the full value.
