Subject: Nomination by Petition for U.S. Senator
Date: Tues 04 Jul 2000

During the filing period from July 4 to July 18, I am seeking nomination by petition for the office of U.S. Senator for Minnesota. My site contains information on my current positions and I respond directly to questions regarding my campaign. In order to be on the fall ballot, I need signatures from 2,000 eligible Minnesota voters on the "Minnesota Combined Nominating Petition and Petition in Lieu of Filing Fee for Partisan Office." Copies of the petition can be obtained directly from my web site at:

geocities.com

If you read my positions and would support my listing on the official fall ballot, please send me your signature and the necessary information on a copy of the petition. Send as many signatures as you would like.

Please note that the petition can be signed only during the filing period which is July 4 to July 18, 2000. I have to file an Affidavit of Candidacy by 5:00 PM July 18.

If elected, my experience on this thread over the past four years will guide me in assuring that the interests of the small investor are adequately protected.

Thank you and Happy July 4,
George Dawson
