"No you can not sell the EEPROM with GM , FORD, Chrysler ... code on it. It is their intellecture property, obviously if you wipe the EEPROM then you can do whatever you want with it." I'm not convinced. Are you saying if I want to sell a book I have to erase all the writing in it first and just sell the blank paper?
