Do$ - I got some ipo shares and I'm Canadian. Not trying to rub it in - just telling you what has to happen to get in on an IPO. I have a Merril Lynch account - Merrill was the lead underwriter. I generate a lot of Merrill business and have earned my broker serious commissions and referred some business to the guy. I also only got 1/4 of what I asked for. C'est la vie. It's a matter of supply and demand.

Even with all that _ I still can get shut out of some other offerings like PALM or GT Group Telecom etc. Them's the breaks.
