Too bad I missed the show. Sure sounds very interesting indeed. Something which would keep me from falling asleep.

The transcript is on the web site if you're interested.

The THEORY being that our bodies age but our brains can go on forever.

That THEORY would need an exception for me. My brain is the oldest part of my body, except for my knees. I even had to click back on the link to my message to find out which TV show was in question.

...when that cute boy turned you down in favor of your girlfriend.

While my memory may be fading, I'm absolutely sure that nothing like that ever happened to me.

and then download them into a NEW baby's brain.

That doesn't sound very fair to that baby.

. I suggest to you that that baby is now Karen Holt.

I don't know about that. It's hard to imagine me being me without the particulars of my body. It's even harder to imagine Michael Jordon being Michael Jordon in Bill Gates's body. Our brains don't operate in a sterile environment. Serotonin and endorphins and all that stuff contribute to who we are. And the genes that make us fat or thin or tall or short. Not to mention black or white, etc. Hard to imagine, but interesting...

My new bride finds it quite interesting that another woman is thinking about me in the middle of the night <ggg>

<Ggggg> back atcha.

Karen
