*OT* Basically because they keep popping up as a misused item. Note how Real networks, go.com etc were found to be tracking people around the net and not just their sites.

Cookies are used to see what types of ads to spam you with and can also be used for ill intentions ( of course these are usually from non main stream sites ). Still how many times tdo you go to someones home page to view a chart or follow a link posted thinking it has to do with a stock pick, market news etc. I would rather see what it is I am accepting before doing so.

Paranoid sounding maybe but I am not alone and it isn't that bgi a deal once you get used to hitting the "no" automatically, especailly via the "N" on your keyboard as soon as they appear.

To each thier own.

Good Luck,

Lee
