lol yes it was an easy one. the 760 NOS had a limit of 7 chars per userid/password....

one of my tricks on one of my old systems was to use a command delimiter as one of the chars in my password. Doing that meant u had to know the escape sequence to use inorder to get the password to work. If you just typed it in the OS thought that was the end of the command.

That was when I worked on a CDC 760 NOS mainframe....

what I do now is either the same or different. either way i won't divulge, no point in that sort of behaviour...
