Test Drive Infringement: to GIFT brass - are they "cited" for their infringement?? Patent Search - I Believe that there are patent searching services that gather all related patents and the patent atty staff reviews the same and renders an opinion on whether their is a patent covering the area already and whether the "new use" infringes or not. The patent office does not give such opinions. Mel
