To all those who are long, I feel for you folks (I am not long, but I've been beaten up this way many times before).
What would really irk me about the way this co. handled this situation is the pansy-a$$ way of pre-announcing: very late in an evening before the day the market is both closed and it is a holiday. Ridiculous, destroys investor confidence, indicates IMHO that someone is trying to slip something through the cracks.
In this era of instant mass news dissemination, that won't work and really shows a lack of sense, at best.
