Volt et al: re BMCS/sector: Does anybody here follow this sector at all? Reason I mention is that about two-three years ago, I traded BMCS three times "swing method" ... and at least two of those times were very similar to today's windfall (to the downside) action ... Was good for 15 points over periods ranging from a couple of weeks to two months. Which was all I wanted out of it. (An anecdote: The second time I bought it: I had full-serv broker at time; it dropped 13 points one morning on a Gold/Sack [sic] downgrade. Got Eddie (broker) on phone and said, "I wanna do it again, Eddie." He was horrified; explained to me that these people at Goldman Sachs were not idiots. <LOL> I told him I don't give a damn who they are, I want to buy it today. Had to INSIST. Bot @ $39 and about six weeks later, as I recall, sold @ $55). ANYBODY ELSE INTERESTED IN BMCS?????????? TIA ... (EDIT: If this posts twice, I'm sorry ... unintentional ... getting "network problems/reconnect" error msg crap from Uncle Bill (Gates) b-i-a ###
