It seems there is some price maintenance going on. I know 3COM is probably the single biggest buyer/seller. It seems we will likely remain within a pretty narrow trading corridor ($50-$60)between now and the 11th. Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that $70-75 is probably closer to the range for COMS + PALM. I'm sticking with value of PALM at $38 (IPO price) plus residual for COMS of at least $10 a share.
COMS + PALM could spike much higher at any point (or take a plunge for that matter) due to the confusing array of factors already being discussed here. I'm just holding on tight to both my PALM and my COMS. Eventually value of both will win out IMHO.

I doubt 3Com is buying shares now as you suggest, why should they? COMS (and PALM) are moving up with the NAS, but also moving up when the NAS declines (like today). As discussed previously here 3COM should wait until it can purchase "pure" 3COM shares to support its price if and when necessary.
