The fourth quarter last year had some large credit related to taxes. The operating earnings actually increased from the fourth to this year's first quarters.
The conference call did not provide any adequate explanation, but I think the second quarter could show some further improvement. Should the company post a number like 20 cents, we could see a dramatic move.
But the problem is that this management has not communicated enough to allow me to make such a prediction with any confidence.
If they could learn how to communicate with the investment public, we would see the stock move up faster. But I agree with Michael that if they have the best product, and if the top dogs do not get into another spitting match, we should do very well.
Looks like a buying opportunity to me.
