'...market manipulation at its worst.' By definition, you must be complaining about sector 'buy' pronouncements as well. Yup, I clearly remember all those folks bitterly complaining about the Merrill report last week. Ah yes, it's coming back to me...'If Merrill is indeed selling any semi or equipment issues today, this is market manipulation at its worst.' Why weren't you calling for more market oversight when the reccommendations were flowing as well? (this is a rhetorical question) You seem to forget the 'cake and eat it too' proverb: greater SEC oversight would significantly dampen the effects of positive outlooks too. Amazing how narrowed one's focus becomes once the market doesn't behave according to one's expectations.
