Paul Freiman is the guy who took Syntex, with a dry pipeline and facing patent expirations, and sold it to Roche. BTW, he bailed out a lot of investors who had bought Syntex when it was the darling of the panelists on Wall Street Week.

There seems to be enthusiasm for what he might do for the relatively full pipeline of NTII.
