I am pleased to see that Intel has discovered the Rambus businees model and is now entering into a fabless royalty game with VIA, including payment of "up front lump sum payments". Music to my ears. So now how expensive will it become for VIA to produce those mystery DDR chipsets, not to mention their old mainline product stream?
