Bill,

I appreciate your concern, and one of the main reasons we sent the PM was to clear up any confusion. There have been several other incidents and issues that have been reported and discussed on the boards the last few days - some of them correctly, and some inaccurately.

For example, the problem with usernames being substituted for aliases could not possibly have happened on Thursday morning. Why? Because, as we stated in the PM, the problem was caused by our database rollover, which did not occur until Thursday evening. I'm not sure what kind of problem you're referring to on Thursday morning, but it simply can't be the same problem.

Clearly, there have been other problems associated with the new database, and we will provide additional status updates shortly. This "alias issue" was certainly the most serious, and therefore we wanted to communicate the specifics as soon as we had resolved the situation and the underlying cause.

Thanks,

Bryan
