i most definetly dont edit things that i quote.if i did it wouldnt be a quote.(your distinction of whether it came from a public or private place is absurd.a quote is a quote.period.)if i wanted to do that then i would haveto paraphrase the quote.there have been a handle of occasions ,alll in the mania chronicles,when there was a gratuitous and not needed reference to race.in all cases though i could see that it was not needed i used the quote anyway as the passing mention of race was not the story in any of these vignettes.today wasnt a slam on jewish people it was meant to point out the type of speculation still happening.....
