DDR266 supported VIA chipsets will be targeted across the PC Market at servers, desktop systems, Value PCs and mobiles. via.com.tw Given that it's contractually obligated to support Rambus, turning a big chunk of its chipset business over to VIA may be the only way Intel can stay competitive as DDR begins to dominates the high end. And Intel won't have had anything to do with the dumping of Rambus - it'll be VIA's "fault". Although Intel's replacement of the rambus 820 chipset with the PC133 815 chipset did put another nail in the coffin.
