KryoTech newsletter subscriber,
So far the year 2000 has been very exciting for KryoTech. First, sales of the first 1 Gigahertz personal computer available on the market have been extremely strong. We have even signed a new distribution agreement that will bring KryoTech products to market in Southeast Asia and Greater China. Now our most exciting accomplishment is right around the corner. KryoTech is preparing for the summer release of its latest SuperG, based on the new Athlon processor with Performance Enhancing Cache Memory. The combination of KryoTech's state-of-the-art cooling technology with the most advanced processor on the market will yield the most powerful system on the market. We are excited about the new developments and the growth of KryoTech.
On February 18, 2000, KryoTech signed an agreement with one of its US distribution partners, Sys Technology, to serve as the exclusive agent for KryoTech's products within Greater China (The Peoples Republic of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao). Orders have already been placed, and we look forward to strong sales within these markets. To further this partnership, KryoTech and Sys Technology combined forces to take part in Computex 2000 from June 5th through the 9th. Computex is one of the largest computer trade shows in the world and the largest show in Southeast Asia. The technology demonstration of our upcoming SuperG with Cold CacheT was well received. Machines were shown in the AMD and Via booths to a very receptive crowd. Before the show was even over, KryoTech, the new SuperG, and Sys Technology were featured on the cover of the Taiwan Daily News, one of the widest read publications in Taiwan. The Asian Wall Street Journal also filmed the machine for their television ! channel. Computex 2000 served as the forum for KryoTech to introduce its latest and greatest product, the SuperG with Cold Cache. This machine will be delivered this summer and is a combination of AMD's new Athlon processor with Performance Enhancing Cache Memory and KryoTech's most advanced cooling system ever. AMD's new Athlon processor contains 256K of on-die level two (L2) cache memory that significantly improves performance in high end applications. This L2 cache memory runs at the core speed of the processor.. The KryoTech cooling subsystem cools this L2 cache and therefore increases its speed in conjunction with the increase of the processor's internal clockspeed. The target speed for the SuperG with Cold Cache is 1.4G. The cooling system on the new SuperG will feature many advances in technology that we are pleased to bring to market. A new, more efficient evaporator, more advanced firmware, and a simple easy to assemble KryoCavity have been added to increase the upgradeability ! of the machine. The new SuperG with Cold Cache promises to be our most exciting product ever, placing immense power at the fingertips of high performance users.
This summer KryoTech will also be conducting a Worldwide Training Session in Dresden, Germany, home of AMD's new Fab-30. Speakers from AMD and KryoTech will cover marketing, performance, and technical information on both the Thunderbird Processor and the KryoTech Thunderbird-Based SuperG. AMD will be sponsoring a tour of their new facility for all participating KryoTech Authorized Resellers.
